This Cookie Notice explains how Divinium Archive uses cookies, pixels, local storage, software development kits, and similar technologies (“Cookies”) on our Services. Cookies are small files or values placed on a browser or device. Some are set by Divinium; others are set by service providers working on our behalf.
01. Your consent controls
When you select a preference, we store a consent record so we do not ask you repeatedly. Your choice does not affect access to content that does not require the optional category. Browser privacy signals will be honored where required by applicable law.
02. Essential and security
Essential Cookies support session continuity, authentication, account protection, shopping-cart state, delivery estimates, consent preferences, load balancing, fraud prevention, and secure delivery of Digital Works. These signals are generally necessary for a service you request and cannot be switched off through our preference control without disabling the associated feature.
We may use short-lived security tokens and device signals to detect credential abuse, automated scraping, payment fraud, and attempts to bypass access controls. They do not create a marketing profile.
03. Preferences and lore continuity
Preference technologies remember settings such as display mode, reading position, language, accessibility choices, dismissed notices, and the contents of a saved collection. Where these signals relate to an account, they may be associated with Lore Data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can clear browser storage, but doing so may reset your preferences or remove an offline reading state.
04. Analytics and performance
With permission where required, analytics technologies help us understand which pages load correctly, where a reading session ends, how navigation performs, and whether an issue is delivered reliably. We use aggregated reporting to improve the archive and do not intend to identify you through analytics. We may use privacy-preserving measurement, reduced identifiers, and short retention windows.
Rejecting analytics does not stop basic error logging needed to secure and operate the Services. See our State Privacy Rights page for opt-out rights that may apply in your jurisdiction.
05. Commerce and communication
Storefront technologies remember cart contents, order progress, fraud-review state, and referral information needed to attribute a campaign or prevent abuse. Email pixels may tell us whether a transactional or editorial message was delivered or opened, where allowed. You can unsubscribe from editorial messages at any time; transactional notices about an order, account, or security event may still be sent.
06. Managing your browser
Most browsers let you view, delete, block, or limit Cookies through privacy settings. Blocking all Cookies may prevent sign-in, checkout, saved reading, or consent controls from working. Device-level advertising controls and browser extensions may also affect our ability to remember your choice. A preference saved on one browser or device may not apply to another.
For questions about Cookies or to request assistance, contact privacy@divinium.archive. We may update this notice when technologies, providers, or legal requirements change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
