This State Privacy Rights Notice supplements the Privacy Policy and applies to residents of U.S. states with privacy laws that provide individual rights. The rights below may be subject to exceptions, thresholds, verification requirements, and regulations. We do not “sell” personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable state law. If our practices change, we will update this notice.
01. Categories in the archive
During the preceding twelve months, Divinium may have collected identifiers and contact details; commercial and transaction information; internet, device, and network activity; approximate geolocation; account or preference information; user-submitted content; and inferences used to maintain your collection and reading experience. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data for advertising. We use these categories to operate the Services, fulfill orders, protect accounts, provide support, understand aggregate engagement, and meet legal obligations.
We may disclose categories to hosting, analytics, payment, shipping, email, customer-support, security, and professional-service providers. We do not exchange your personal information for monetary consideration. We do not use Lore Data for targeted advertising based on sensitive data.
02. Available requests
Depending on your state, you may request to:
- Confirm whether we process personal information and access a copy of it.
- Correct inaccuracies in personal information.
- Delete personal information, subject to exceptions.
- Obtain a portable copy of information you provided.
- Opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing, profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, or certain sensitive-data processing.
- Appeal a decision we make about your request.
We do not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. We may still charge different prices or offer loyalty benefits when reasonably related to the value of information and permitted by law, and we will describe the terms before enrollment.
03. California residents
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to know categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, sources, purposes, and disclosures. California residents may opt out of “sale” or “sharing” and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable. Divinium does not knowingly sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To submit a request, email privacy@divinium.archive with “California request” in the subject line. We will not use sensitive information to infer characteristics about you except as permitted by law. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authorization.
04. Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah may have rights to access, correct, delete, and port personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, certain profiling, or the sale of personal data as defined by each law. Colorado residents may also have rights relating to universal opt-out mechanisms and appeal procedures. Connecticut residents may have additional protections concerning children’s data and sensitive data.
We will authenticate a request using information reasonably matched to our records. We will respond within the period required by your state law and may extend once when permitted. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to the decision or emailing privacy@divinium.archive with “Privacy appeal.”
05. Other state laws
Residents of states including Oregon, Texas, Montana, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, Delaware, New Jersey, Kentucky, Nebraska, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island may receive comparable rights as their laws take effect. The exact scope and timing differ. We will honor a request when the applicable law requires it, even if a right is not listed in this notice.
You may also disable non-essential analytics or advertising cookies through Cookie Preferences. Browser-based opt-out signals will be honored where required and technically supported.
06. Submit or appeal a request
Send requests to Divinium Archive Privacy, 110 Mercer Street, Floor 4, New York, NY 10012, or privacy@divinium.archive. Include your name, state of residence, preferred contact method, and the nature of your request. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
If we cannot verify your identity, we may ask for additional information and will use it only to verify the request. You may appeal a denial within the period stated in our response. If your appeal is denied, the notice will identify the applicable regulator or complaint route where required.
